Default WTB Steering ECU...

As the title says- need a steering ecu... mine is on the fritz and slight movements of the steering wheel translate into possible rear-end-coming-around-drifting moves.

Thanks.

Clifford

Clifford,

PM Veritek to see if he wants to sell (or still has) the one I sold him along with my GS / spare parts. I took it out when I put in the L-tuned steering ECU probably in 2000.

I did (the OEM since I replaced it with the L-tuned) but sold it along with my GS (and all OEM parts off of it) to CL member Veritek.

thanks guys for the help.

DaveGS4 - I PM'd Veritek but he told me he already installed the l-tuned ecu. I don't necessarily need the l-tuned one. An oem one will work because I suspect mine is going out because sometimes it's assisting me when I'm changing lanes @ 60+mph which is a little scary.

Ay-Nako - thanks man. I appreciate it.

GS3.0 - yep, saw your part out thread but i kinda need my car and i don't think you want this steering ECU that's in my car unless you want to drift down the freeway.

lexusscturbo - thanks for the consideration man. mine is a daily as well.

Right - the point is (he may not realize this) that I also gave him the OEM (non-L-tuned) steering ECU when he bought my car... he's correct in that the l-tuned one is IN the GS. He may not know he has it, he literally took a truck full of parts out of here.

Gazi's answer is probably the easiest sure solution for you though and sounds like a fair deal.
