FS: Tein Flex Coilover Suspension
So, I'm thinking of putting in a new stiffer suspension setup and I'm going to get rid of my current Tein Flex suspension. I prefer a stiff bone jarring one, and the Flex just isn't stiff enough for me . It has about 10-12k miles total on it, I don't drive my car very much now days because the GS is relegated to showcar/racecar status now. I put on about 3-4k miles on the car since last year. I think these cost around $1700-1800 or so new. No squeaks, no leaks, all boots perfect with no tears. Basically it's still in great shape.
Keep in mind for whoever buys this. The last person I installed the Flex on their car complained of increased road noise. Of course it's going to be louder than stock because it has a solid metal ball upper mount for better handling response vs the stock one that's a rubber bushing. It's going to transfer more road vibration to the car due to the fact that it's solid(less slop for more control). You'll have to give up some luxury if you want to carve those corners hard. It's a stiffer suspension as well, but nothing overly harsh or too crazy. If you've ever been in a BMW M series car, Nissan GT-R, Corvette...this is pretty close to the stiffness of those.
Selling for $900 and buyer pays shipping costs. UPS Ground should be around $100-125 range or so.

I didn't get any PM from you. Oh yeah if you're local or willing to come pick it up. Then obviously there's going to be no charge for the shipping. Also, if you want these installed. I can put them on for you instead of going to a shop and paying out the wazoo.

You'll never find a deal this awesome in NY... if only i had $1000 that wasn't tired up... is shipping really in the $100 range? I guess these do weigh more than struts and springs but I wouldn't think that much more..

Before you ship, box the suspension up and take it to the USPS office in the smallest box you can. Tell them you want the slowest cheapest route of shipment available. If its in the lower 48 you can ship for around $60. I shipped two stock suspension sets for about $58 dollars each.. Its worth a shot for you! Good luck!

GS400civi picked up the coils today. I also helped him install them. His car is dumped, and I mean seriously dumped. After the installation he backed out of my driveway and had his first scrape experience of his life lol. His face expression was priceless!
