1. Injen Intake 01-05 GS300s only*

It is chrome, includes manifold cover, filter (recommend new filter), instructions and misc. hardware for the install. NOTE: It is missing a coupler clamp and maybe one or two misc bolts. The vibra-mount (a rubber bushing w/ a screw on each end) helps hold the intake in place and part of the screw broke off, but it still holds fine.

Do you have the part number for the Injen intake and is it CARB approved?

I believe it is ls2092p, but I have to double check that. No, it is not CARB approved, so it will not pass a visual inspection.

It is an exhaust cam gear for the 2jz.

Did the engine throw any codes after installing the intake or while you had it on?

Nope, the engine will not and should not throw any codes with the intake on, as long as it is installed properly. In fact, if you pay attention to the manifold cover, I cut a piece of it off so it can clear an o2 sensor wire so it won't rub against it and cut the wire. The intake worked great, I felt a noticeable difference when I took it off. The car just felt sluggish overall, especially in the lower rpms. Will work even better in conjunction with an safc.

It is easy to install, all you do is bolt it to your battery terminals. I heard it makes a bigger difference if you have stereo equipment.
