Default FS: Precision Industries Dragon 2800 RPM TQ

New, never installed 2800 RPM torque converter . Purchased several years ago for my GS400 but never installed in car.
$600.00 plus shipping.

I can take pictures if needed.

PM if interested.

Thanks

short answer is that it CAN make your car faster off the line. hate to say it, but the long answer is in a search and it'll involve an LSD

This allows the engine to rev up to 2800 rpm before launching from a dead start.
If you perform a search on the forums, you'll see it is probably the single biggest perfomance boost you can give to an otherwise stock drivetrain, cutting at least 1/2 a second (some say more) off your quarter mile times, not to mention a huge boost in the 0-60 mph sprint (if you can keep from doing huge burnouts !).

I'm pretty sure it does..it fits many GS/LS/SC models that use the 5 speed auto transmission from the 1990 LS400 thru 2008 SC430.
I would check with the manufacture first, or call Carson or Sewell Lexus as they also sell this part.

Thanks. I was really looking forward to installing this but decided that if I was going to add a new Z06 vette or used SL55 to the stable I could forego boosting the performance of the GS. There are many owners like yourself that have given great testimonials to the effectiveness of this single upgrade along with many video postings showing it in action. This was enough for me to pull the trigger at the time !

Do you happen to have the trans cooler too. I am so wanting to pull the trigger on this thing.

Sung35,

No I don't have a tranny cooler for it, but it is highly advisable that you install one with this TQ. There have been several writeups regarding the best or recommended coolers to use on our cars.

Thanks to everyone who's inquired about this TQ.

Here is a picture of the TQ and it's shipping container as requested by several people. I just opened the box for the first time to take this picture so it is all ready to ship.

Thanks
