WTB Pass Side Front Door Lock actuator 2001 430
Hi All,
Like the title states, I am looking for a passender side front door lock actuator for a 2001 GS430. Please respond here if you have one that works perfect. Please list car year and model. Also is anyone can confirm that it will work from a 98-2000 GS, that would be nice too. Thanks in advance.

In my opinion, I would NOT buy a used one unless you were 100% sure that it was a low mileage car that it came out of.
I made the mistake of being cheap and paying $110 for a used one instead of calling Carson for a new one at $195.
The one I bought off of here crapped out after 2 months of use, so I basically bought the actuator for 60 bucks, and rented its operations for $25/ month.
There's a guy on here that I'll be sending my actuator to so that he can change the motor in it, and make it like new again.
If interested, PM me and I'll ask him if he wants me to give out his username.
But at $65 for a NEW motor in your existing housing, its a steal!
Also, if you can't afford the downtime, I have a broken front passenger side actuator that could be sent in for you if needed.

go to the second gen forum. Look at the door lock actuator DIY thread. I made a very detailed writup on the last page. Sorry no pics for now, but I hope to do another one soon, and will take pics then. If someone sends me their busted one, I can make a writeup from that.
