Default FS: Factory Navigation System - Complete with wiring

I have the following:
- factory navigation screen (has the Sept 02 update)
- nav harddrive
- gps antenna
- pioneer single din radio
- custom wiring to retrofit the system into any gs or any other car. The wiring was done with the help of Bananags.

Price: 700 shipped

Note this system will work the best in factory pioneer cars becuase you will be able to control the cd changer thru the nav headunit.

I had the unit installed in my 99 gs400, but I had to use the nakamichi radio, so the install was not too clean.

I will have pics posted soon.

note on pioneer cars: the unit will go under the mat, my car had a nak amp below the mat, so i mounted it above.

hey quick question, is that real wood grain? or is it stick on wood?

-Also, would i be able to hook up aftermarket subs, speakers and amp to this system without issues?

yes you can, you should do a search on replacing the pioneer amp with aftermarket.

How much did it run you to install that into your 99 gs 400 with the Nakamichi system.

I have the same set up now and am lookin for navi system.

After you got it installed workin with the Nakamichi stereo, did you have any issues with the setup?

Well i wouldnt be replacing the pioneer amp, id be putting in a new 4-channel rockford amp for interior speakers (all MB-Quart) and Mono Rockford amp for MB-Quart subs, i was wondering if all this could be hooked up to the stock navi?

Since you have an 01, I would wait for the "newer" DVD systems and try to work with that. Otherwise, go aftermarket.

For those that want OEM for the 98-00, this is a great price.

I installed it myself, it is not hard. No issues, but with the nakamichi cars you cannot use the pioneer single din radio, this is why i had to use the nak radio, and it did not fit too well.
