Default FS: Headlight retrofit

Up for sale is my custom retrofit. It has the A4/E46 lens in the low beam, 4300k bulbs, the housings have also been painted a gunmetal color. I had the original retrofit performed by TIguy99 and the housing was the stock chrome. There was no leaks or condensation of the headlights. I sent them back to TI to have the housings painted gunmetal and didnt install them after I received them back. I decided to go a different more OEM route. The cutoff on these are great. There are no frensel lines, the lenses are the ones that are smooth. The headlights could use a good buffing as there are some slight scratches. The only thing I would change on these is the rear shroud. The shroud on there now is a painted silver and the shroud around the lens is chrome. If I were to keep them I would find a backing that was all chrome that way it would match the high beam housing perfectly. Asking price is $450 plus shipping. Here are the pics:

I also have a new wiring harness, installed in the car only to test lights, $40 shipped, purchased from xenondepot. Also philips ballasts. These were originally from the plug and play kit so I had to modify the connections to fit the D2S bulbs, looking for $100 plus shipping for these.

Feel free to ask questions. I will take some cutoff pics and post them soon.

Rich

Updated cutoff pics:

Driver side cutoff:

Passenger side cutoff:

In these pics the headlights were sitting on the engine bay, not mounted on the car. The cutoff on these lights are very clean and the output is great. The images are of the 4300k bulbs

these look to be halogen, meaning they did not have autoleveling

pretty nice headlights, cutoff/output pics will help sell I think, clean retro tho, I like the way the shroud fits

You could always just open up your stock headlights, and swap the chrome housings on there....I did that on the retro I had, and had it not been for a retarded cutoff, I would have kept it. It will look totally stock, which means totally awesome. Free bump.

all it takes is a heat gun, a phillips head screw driver, and a flat head for prying. Take your time, and you will get it done.

As far as I know it should just work with your OEM system fine. The bulbs I am using are D2S, not sure what the oem bulbs are.
