You're only going to want to run about 325 RWHP because of your tranny.

You guys, all you will NEED is an SAFC. I would suggest a boost guage and wideband to go with it too. Which I have all of too. Just pm me if you are really interested.

GOD, I really want to buy this, but i really dont want to deal with tuning my engine on the daily again.....

So I need a List of the rest I need besides gauges and SAFC..... Any other form of programming? Anything at all?

And what exactly would be needed to make the car "street legal" No CEL.

Gauges
IC Piping

Depending on how much boost you run is really your reliability. As you know the 2JZ is a very strong engine and boost isn't something new to it. I was planning on boosting to 8 PSI which would get me to around 300 to the wheels and about 360 to the crank and have it be my daily driver...we're talking ~50 miles a day on this car. If you're going to be running a conservative amount of boost I wouldn't worry about it at all.

All I can say is that the 2JZ is one of the best motors Toyota ever built. Research and development was really good!.. Now its really up to you on what you want to do with the kit.. Run normal boost and have a really reliable car for everyday driving. But if you plan on hitting high amounts of boost, be ready to change your bottom end later on.. Boost is addicting, tho our motors can handle it pretty well compared to other engines!! Good luck!
