some of you probably remember i had this installed in my gs. the pics above are of the unit installed in my car. as you can see the ashtray still fully opens and closes to conceal the XM unit. i have decided to remove this from my car because i no longer desire to be charged for XM every month as its been literally six months since i even turned it on.. i thought i would use it more but between the DVD/CD headunit, 8 disk changer & ipod, ive got enough music already lol.

anyway just so its out there, you will be receiving ANY and ALL parts which came with the unit needed for a full and complete install. you will also obviously be receiving the full ASHTRAY assembly that the XM is custom mounted into. heres the catch, ill need your ashtray assembly along with the cash and it has to be the one that matches my ivory leather interior'd '98 GS400. you can see from the pic above that it is the dark dash color. if one of you has the woodgrain one that matches the color wood in my pic, ill consider that as well. you cant really get this particular XM unit anymore it is a rare find. they are sold out in many stores due to it being the only unit of its size and clean look, and they are no longer being produced.. only ones available these days are the larger ones that usually have to be installed outboard on the outside of the dash somewhere with a holster/mount making for a bulky awkward install no matter where you put it. this is a CLEAN/hidden install for anyone looking to add XM while maintaining the luxurious stock look of the interior lexus intended us to have.
