I have decided to sell my rear view compass upgrade since I bought a radar detector with built in compass. The mirror works flawlessly. The glass itself has two very very small scratches, one can be seen on the picture towards the lower right and one is on the left but under the cover and difficult to see. The scratches are hard to see and do not obstruct the view. the scratches are so fine that you cannot even feel them with your finger.

This mirror goes for over $400 retail. I am letting it go for $100 + 10 shipping.

P.S: Forgot to mention that it also has auto dim feature. Also the mark that you see in the picture is not the scratch but my finger print to show where the hairline scratch is.

Does this just replace your non-compass one? Also what models?

Yes this should be direct plug and play. A few members here with 98 - 00 GS have upgraded to this mirror. This is from a 2003 GS 300. I believe it will work with any GS 00 - 05 and should be a direct swap.

so i'm assuming that the compass electronis are built in with the mirror??? thats the only way it would work... otherwise GS's like mine(98) wouldnt have any electronics otherwise... know wut i mean?

Adam you are right, compass is built in to the mirror. And no extra wiring just plug it in same way as the non-compass model and it works.
