Default FS: P.I. 3000 stall TC for GS300

Guys, up for sale is my Presion Industries 3000 Stall Torque Converter. It's been on the car for over a year now with no problems at all. Putting the tranny back to stock to work on another project. Car will be at the dealership next week to have it taken out. For those of you looking for more giddy-up, here's your chance at a great price. I also recommend having a tranny cooler installed to keep things nice and cool.

This TC if for only GS/IS 300 cars only. It is a multi disc setup which only works with the 300 models. Sorry GS400/430 guys!

Retail price for this TC is $943.00 thru Carson Toyota. http://www.l-tunedparts.com/product/?id=1777

MY PRICE IS: $550 + SHIPPING Please note that I would perfer local pickup due to the weight of this badboy. However, I will ship at buyers expense. Money order or Cashier check prefered. Drop me a PM if interested or have questions. Thanks

Ken

The stock stall is 2700 +/-150 in a gs300. This info was given to me from the techs at Lexus when they installed my PI TC. The higher stall helps getting into the power band faster. Many turbo GS/IS300 guys go 3200 due to the slow spooling turbo's. Hope this helps...

In all honesty, it depends on how you drive your GS. If it's a daily driver and your not concerned with 0-60 times or some casual racing, this mod is not for you. You would hardly notice the difference. It does not add HP to your car. What it does do however, is get your car to 3K rpms off the line which is the start of the powerband for the GS3. Overall the car will be faster when you hit the accelerator. Your 0-60 times & 1/4 mile times will be better than stock. I'm sure the engine guru's here on CL can get more in depth regarding TC's. Doing a search here on CL will also yield many answers.

When I had this TC installed, it wasn't long after that I had my supercharger setup installed. All I really can say is that the car launched extremely hard off the line spinning my heavy 20" wheels.

Wow, this is a great deal and great price. LXOGOOD, I wish you've listed it three months earlier. I was looking for it for a year before I got mine for the full price, and I posted a couple of WTB threads for it here, but noone was ever selling it.
bighitbike, it should work perfect on your car with just a little transmission cooler, and it is one of the best mods for GS.

Cost to install will vary from shop to shop. Expect to pay between $200-$400 for install. You will need to get a tranny cooler ($40-$60) which should be installed at the same time. Make sure you have a shop or dealer that knows what they are doing. And yes, if you stomp on it, you will enjoy this mod....A LOT.
