quick question.......what is the spring rate? and how was the ride quality? also did the pillow ball upper mounts come with the kit? do you think the ra is better than the flex? thanks.

technical data is at the bottom of this page: http://tein.com/ti/y98.html

ride quality at their softest setting on stock wheels/tires is firm but streetable, something like the 2003 540i sport that i once had the opportunity to drive. ride motion is much better controlled than the tein CS i am on right now, even at their stiffest settings. but if your roads are full of frost heaves and potholes and you roll on 20" wheels... not so good.

the RA for the GS did not come with top mounts. if you look at the specs, it says "upper mount OEM". i am including mine because i don't want to dissasemble them.

i have not ridden in a CS with the flex installed. the only car i've been in with the flex was an acura integra, and it had noise (ie. rattling) issues because of the upper pillowball mounts. other points are that the RA is aluminum, therefore is lighter and runs less risk of rusting.

{EDIT} added link for tech data
