Default FS- brand new drive belt tensioner-GS430

I bought a new belt tensioner because my bearing on the pulley was making noise. I did not want to disassemble the old tensioner from my motor so I just took the bearing/pulley off the new one. I believe the noise was caused by some grit that was behind the bearing.

so I have the brand new tensioner and the pulley and bearing off my old one. once I disassembled the pulley, you can see all you have to do is pop in a new bearing.

anyway- $40 plus shipping for the new tensioner and the used pulley/bearing.
I'll post pics and part # later

I had the same issue. Did it get rid of the squeeling for you?

I bought a new belt because I thought that was the prob. when I took off the old belt and spun the pulley/bearing, I could hear a high pitch grinding sound so I ruled out the belt and returned it.

I fiddled with it a little tensioner a little and put everything back together and the noise disapeared. however, my friend had already ordered the new tensioner, so I replaced the bearing and pulley just to be safe. the noise was actually gone before I put on the new pulley/bearing. I'm pretty sure the noise was from some grit I found behind the bearing. now that I cleaned it it spins quiet and freely again, with no play.

here's the brand new tensioner...I think it also fits Tundra and Seqouia, not sure on GS400.

here's the backside of pulley/bearing. you can see that the bearing can be presseed out and replaced. It has 30,500 miles on it.

What is the part # for the tensioner? Do you know if you can get those replacement bearings at NAPA?
