I am in the DFW area also and my wifw was rearended by a Ford Ranger doing 55. Sounds like similar damage was done. The final bill came to $5600.00. I had the work done at Goodsen Acura in Irving and they did a fabulous job. Car actually looks better than new. Mine is black and i am really picky and i couldnt believe how good they made it look. never mind. they just called and said they are going to repair the rider. 
makes me happy to know that i will not have to fight with them about all the custom work that is done to the car. they where all ready giving me a hard time. i hate dealing with other peoples insurance companys. they always try to screw you.
