Thank you, price is a big factor. Plus what the kit includes and mileage on it . Not trying to be picky ,but i wanna try to get the best i can. I really just want the pluming, hardware and brackets, since i plan on using a vortec blower, but i will take the whole kit as long as it is not 2 pricey. thanx again

most people get the RMM or SRT supercharger if they can find one, and will place it in the 430 with some work... i think it's normally for the 400 so you'll have to get some work done before the supercharger can go in...

It's the basic law of economics folks. It is simple supply and demand. There are no more units available on the shelf. That means that ALL that is available now is USED. So, if you are looking for a "new" unit, you're unfortunately out of luck. The kit originally and ONLY because of a "sale" cost $4500 plus shipping. Then you had to add install, fuel management, BOV, different pulleys, and the like. The kit was intended to be plug and play for those wanting to boost less than 5 psi. Anyone else, would have to add all the items above and sometimes more. The kits that are on cars have worked out all the bugs. I know that for a fact because a handfull of us have been in constant contact thru the entire process and have helped each other figure out those bugs. You can ask anyone that has done this project and they will tell you that they spent far MORE than the $4500 plus shipping it originally set out to be.
So in summary, IF you find a kit period and more importantly WORKING properly and you can get it complete......then you should very well pay for what that is worth. If it's not worth $5k to you, then don't get it. Trust me, someone will recognize the value of it and scoop it up shortly thereafter or the price will have to be adjusted accordingly. Free market economics at it's best.
