I will get that grill too, nice idea about the color-matched emblem, but I don't think it would look good on GFM.
is the black, too plastic? sorry for questions, its just because I don't really like the emblem, maybe because it look shiny, maybe it's different in person.
btw I was thinking about putting the one from the OEM grill, I think it would look better, especially on your car since is more greyish than black.

BTW, becareful going up there. My friend told me recently that his friend's friend was about to be jacked by a group of guys in a G35, if you run you get shot at (which the guy did, the bullet went through the seat and into the trunk).
