I know it works. But what i am trying to find out is whats the installation like? I read thru this thread but i really couoldnt find the correct diy. Also a question on mind is does the sound work with navtv? basically that will cover all of my questions. I would appreciate all the help from any CL member. Thank you.
Yes you can still change tracks via Wireless Remote supplied with your DVD Changer.

Yes the sound does work for the Nav TV.

The Nav TV allows Audio/Video RCA Inputs into the Nav.

Once you have the Nav TV installed, while pressing through the DISC button, you will have the following options:

CD Changer
DVD Changer
AUX (if aux wire is connected)

Please allow 3-4 hours for the Nav TV unit to be installed.

An additional 6-8 hours for the DVD Changer. You will need to remove the whole interior to run the wire.

Goodluck and post here ifyou have any questions.

Well thank you for answering my questions. But 6-8 hours for removing the interior? Even if the dvd player is going in the gloves compartment? Is it still 6-8 hours.

I installed mine in the trunk. The whole back seat was removed. So was the trunk as well.

Just give yourself alot of time. Don't speed through it and settle for less.

ok thanks. But i think i am going to put my dvd player in the glove compartment. Its easy access. And i am afraid of moving interior. If i have to take out interior i might as well run wires for amp, subs, or etc..

Edit: Istundra; what kind of response or rating will you give nav tv? Are you happy with it? Any flaws yet?

I think it is the DVD Laser. The DVD Changer itself.

I am using a Panasonic 8 Disc DVD Changer. Not quite the best.

I just ordered a clarion DVD changer. I've read pretty good ratings so eventually, I will do a changer swap.

Regarding the Nav TV Module, it is a good unit. Haven't failed on me yet.

Here is the picture:

Instead of Navtv you can always add another screen right below it. Here:

I think people who go for Nav TV want to retain as stock as possible.

Having extra units like that kind of clutter the qualities for the OEM appearance.

I believe Nav TV is a good canidate for Ipod Video.

Wow.. i like the 2 screens you got going on. I have been wanting that for quite a while. Did you do that yourself? Or did u have to custom make the molding?

Why did you get navtv when you had the Kenwood unit?
