V161 6-speed setup, SRT turbo kit for IS300, & more
Took me a while to get around to it, but sad to say the time has come, but I'm parting out my performance parts. Everything listed is in mint condition with low mileage as the car was used mainly for shows and car meets.
Prefer local pickup (South Florida) but willing to ship.
V161 Getrag 6-speed Transmission and related parts - $8,500
(Willing to part out if I have a buyer for the trans and all or most of the separate parts.)
V161 which I had imported directly from Japan. Not to be confused with the V160. V161 came in the later, '98+ VVTi Supras, and in Japan only.
Additionally, the V160's gears are uncomfortably short in the IS300. The gear ratios on the V161 are close to what the stock IS300 would be like.
Includes:
- OEM clutch disk, pressure plate, flywheel, and flywheel bolts
- The '01-'04 Toyota Sequoia drive shaft, which is the only drive shaft that's a perfect fit for the V160/161 in the IS300
- Shifter components needed to make the 6-speed tranny fit and line up in the IS300 (SRT shifter bracket and SRT shifter rod)
- SRT transmission crossmember, made specifically for the 6-speed setup in an IS300
- TRD Transmission mount (upgraded from the fragile OEM one)
- Supra TT Clutch Slave Cylinder
- The EXTREMELY rare C's short shifter with a brand new OEM 6-speed shift ****

Defi BF Boost, Oil Pressure, and Ext. Temp. Gauges, & AEM UEGO Wideband Gauge - $700

I'm really sorry guys. I took the car to the shop early Tuesday morning to start uninstalling everything from my turbo and v161 6-speed tranny builds, and I just couldn't do it.
I had already even received a w55 factory trans, driveshaft, clutch, flywheel, pp, etc. etc., but it's just too much of a hassle to go back to stock with a very small chance that the car will run right and that I'll be able to replace all of the stock parts (most of which I don't even realize yet are missing) at a reasonable cost.
Mods, please close this thread.
