FS (SoCal): Tokico Illuminas & Tanabe GF210 (already assembled) **SOLD**
Up for sale is a complete set of Tokico Illumina Shocks and Tanabe GF210 Springs. It comes complete w/ the boots and strut mounts for simple installation. All you have to do is swap out the stock, or old setup, and slap these on.
I purchased the Illuminas brand new and have used them for about 1.5 years and roughly 22K. I never tracked them; they were only used for daily driving, and always set on the softest adjustment. They are NOT blown and do NOT leak.
The GF210s were purchased used from another user back in April ’09. I used them for a total of 7 months for about 7K w/ absolutely no problems. He used them for 3 months and 3K. They previously belonged to a buddy of his who originally purchased them and put on nearly 15K. That brings the grand total to about 25K of used in under 2 years of use.
They will lower the car 1.5" up front and 2" in the rear and they do NOT sag. I've ran Pro-Kits and S-Techs as well. They are by far the best of the three (in terms of ride quality, comfort, and handling). The drop evens out the car and gives it a much improved stance (and feel) from stock.
I am only selling because I purchased a set of coil-overs and no other reason. This setup is great for daily (and spirited) driving. I ran all wheel sizes from 17” to 19” w/ out any rubbing issues, even w/ a full car of 5. I would love to keep it as a backup set, but I am pretty certain that they’ll just collect dust.
