Default Need a 2jzge engine 1994 GS300!

Hello guys I posted some time ago that I wanted to buy an engine for a 1994 gs300, and asked for ideas an what to do, thank you all for your suggestions. Most of you recomended swaping out the non turbo 2jz motor to a turbo one and you guys also said that it would cost about 2-3 thousand for the whole thing. I was gonna save and I know that would be good, but I just need a car, I wanted to see if anybody has or knows where to get a motor or if anybody knows where they sell good jdm imported engines in the Los Angeles area!! I have no wheels right now and would rather fix my gs300, than try to get another car, If anyone can help that would be AWSOME!!!

I know that there are companies that import motors from japan, they clean them up, test them and guarantee them for like six months or something. If anybody know of a place like that, please give me there #, THANK YOU GUYS!!!

If you are looking for a 2jzge engine, I have a good running one I just pulled out of my 2jzge from my 95GS300. Only reason I pulled it because I went to a full 2jzge setup.
Engine in excellent condition with a recent timing belt change etc.Was well maintained and I bought the car from a older couple so i know it was not beat down on.
No leaks or smoke or anything of that sort. I can let the engine and transmission go for $500. You can drive a small truck to Norcal and pick it up yourself and it probably won't cost you more than $200 for the trip and you can do it in one weekend.
I will throw in the newer radiator the previous owner put on it as well.

Upside of buying from me ?
I know these engines pretty good and I maintain my cars well.
I know its a good running engine because I just removed it 2 weeks ago.
Its very clean ( I washed it when I first got it) - that is how I know there is no leaks.
At least you know it was not sitting outside in a wrecking yard before being shipped over to us.
Everything comes with it except for wiring harness and ecu and the tranny cross member. motor mount bracket with one good mount is inlcuded as well.
If you want me to replace any seals/hoses etc, I can do it for you for free as long as you pay for the part.
I have good seller rating on here and a lot more on Supraforums.com. ( Suprastanger507mgte )
Let me know..
Moe

I pulled it out at 180k . Ran super smooth and super quiet. Just like a Lexus should.

you will need to source a front sump oil pan . If you r car has an engine, you can transfer the oil pans ( upper/lower) and the oil pickup and baffle all of it to the engine.
You may also have to swap out the motor mounts...but not sure about that. most likely though.

I have a sc motor in mines from a 97. We swapped the oil pan as well as the intake manifold, exhaust manifold and everything else but the head and block.

Thanks for the advice guys, I found a real good motor with only 60,000 mile that came off of a 95 sc300. My friend Harvy is dong the swap for me and so far he took the old motor out and is swapping the oil pan. He told me the internals of the new engine are really clean. Thank for all your help guys!!!

No there isn't any gasket. You will need to buy the FIPG from Toyota or just get the Grey Gasket maker ( FIPG) from Autozone or some place similar.
