Well you made too many different post to just quote one. It won't take a 1.8 60ft to go 12's....... a 1.99 60ft will send the car into the 12's no problem, but the problem is I don't see you taking the plunge into 1.9x 60ft territory on stock boost or stock exhaust. The time you ran last night could have easily been a 14.0@100mph with a 60ft of 2.2..... which shouldn't be to hard to attain. My car bone stock has cut a 2.36.... and my car is SLOW off the line. I don't care about what traction problems you may have...... I can put together a 1/10th or 2 lower 60ft with the extra power. Hell even if you have to leave a little slow.. it can happen. I'd suggest you get some good rubber on there and take it back out to the track on the SAME setup.... I guarantee you can net a 13.90/14.00@100mph - EASY. I'm waiting for DaveH to get this cheap LSD on the road..........

Hey, at least you guys have a 1/4 mile track to race at... I got a sharty 1/8th mile track like 20 mins away but the nearest 1/4 mile track is like 4+ hours away. They are supposed to turn it into a 1/4 mile track but I don't see it happening anytime soon.

So I guess I'll try and own your 1/8th mile times once I'm not slow

what was your 1/8th time by the way

I was there that night or did you forget that, and forget telling me that you raised the boost even higher that 13.5 run, over 1bar you said, to try and attempt to get your goal of 13s.

You were out there running for broke, tryin to break the 13s.... What about those 14sec runs you put down at lower psi?

It's ok tho, you can now claim that run was "bone stock" because im 4mph slower then you with a 100% stock 1JZGTE, at that time with a shop rag as the air filter, and an open LSD, whatever makes you look better.

I have no aftermarket gauges in my car, no non factory electronics. I can not turn boost up or change fuel settings because there is nothing to adjust.

I'm not calling you out, just don't give out false information. Turning up the pressure with a boost controller and having an SAFC2 and claiming its for viewing only, isnt bone stock. You shouldn't be putting my car down, you should be questioning yours, why you have an LSD, wider tires, boost/fuel controllers, pullys, air intake, and it only ran 4mph faster then a car with the same exhaust, open dif, OEM fuel and boost controls, and a 60ft that was .2 slower, that was installed in some garage by a guy and his father that never worked on or touched a toyota/lexus in their life, with motor bought off ebay. No wonder you hate me, cause if i were you, that would really **** me off.

My first run of the night was 14.7 @ 97mph with a 2.5
my 2nd and final run was that 14.4 @ 100mph with a 2.4
Lets follow that pattern and if i pulled a 2.2 like you, well that would = around a 13.8 at around your same MPH. Your car seems pretty slow to me for what it has done to it. Again i'm not calling you out... but maybe you should do a tune up or something, its running slow.

i have to step in here. i know for a fact that chinos car was stock that night. first off, his first run was on stock boost... the boost controler wasnt ever powered up. secondly, the safc was not set at all. we were looking to have it dyno tuned before we went to the track, and it didnt happen. third thing... his car was running like crap that night... i know because when we changed the pluggs next time, the gap was off a bit. it was probably about 20 or so degrees hotter when chino ran as well. as far as the intake goes, all he had was a cone filter... your shop rag probably let more air past than a cone filter. the only difference in the two cars when taken to the track was the LSD, and the driver. you clam to have lots of experience on the drag strip, so maybe thats why you were only 4 mph slower.. you can drive better? if your looking at the mph, i think your wrong about saying he is slow with all those "mods" (ok, he had an LSD)... my stock SC ran at 89.7mph with 87 octane gas in it! so your saying that my car is only twice as slow as yours than yours is as chinos... WOW, with a 1JZ, your car must be screwed up, because my GE is only 10 mph slower in the traps!!!! see what im getting at? the only way to know for sure, is get an LSD, then go back to the track when its about 80 degrees at 8:00pm.
