Uber-Exclusive Lexus LFA on Not-So-Exclusive eBay
When the LFA debuted back in 2009, there was a lot of static about how Lexus’ uber-exclusive halo car could only be leased. But that was basically just a way to insure American examples found their way into the hands of true fans–and not folks just looking to flip supercars for profit.
The terms of the two-year lease basically just stipulated that the company would hang on to the title for two year period. And now that those are starting to expire, we’re going to see these wicked machines become available to the highest bidder. So if you didn’t manage to get your hands on one when they came out, this is your chance!
This Whitest White version isn’t a sparsely equipped base model either, it comes with nav and the fancy Mark Levinson audio system, so you won’t have to spend the extra pennies at Best Buy getting it pimped out. Head over to eBay to check out the rest of the photos.
With four hours to go, the bidding is currently at 245,100.00–presumably way below the reserve. What do you think this baby will sell for? Head over to the Forum and sound off!
