‘Street Outlaws’ Star Reveals Wicked New Lexus RC F Racer Dubbed ‘Prenup’
After fellow racer Lizzy Musi was diagnosed with breast cancer, Justin Swanstrom redid his Lexus RC F to pay tribute to her battle.
The show Street Outlaws has enjoyed tremendous popularity for years now, though it has somewhat shifted away from the street racing (in a controlled environment) that made it popular in the first place. These days, the focus is largely on no prep racing at the drag strip, which is obviously safer, though it still offers up the same unpredictable types of conditions that make street racing so exciting to watch in the first place. Soon, one of the drivers that’s a common sight on Street Outlaws No Prep Kings – Justin Swanstrom – will be rocketing down the track in his newly revised Lexus RC F as well, which he just revealed via social media.
This is no ordinary makeover, however, as Swanstrom wanted to pay tribute to his friend and fellow racer Lizzy Musi, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and is engaged to Swanstrom’s rival, Kye Kelley. Thus, he decked out his supercharged Lexus RC F in a new livery that features a breast cancer awareness ribbon logo on the roof, along with glow in the dark pink accents to drive the point home.
“Shout out to everyone that made this happen. Lizzy hasn’t seen this,” Swanstrom said during the car’s reveal. “Lizzy and Kye are good friends of mine, and Lizzy is a warrior. Kye called me after coming back from Australia and really told me what happened, and there was nothing I could do to help. That hurt. So I completely switched up designs and wanted to do something for her and everyone else out there with a family member or someone that is close by that has been diagnosed with breast cancer. It will light up and glow in the dark at night just like Lizzy and all these beautiful woman glow up in our hearts.”
Needless to say, Musi was quite honored by this touching tribute. “I am at loss for words,” she said. “Justin and I have known each other for about eight years now; we both race with our dads and our family and I met him when he was running nitrous. Yeah, we had our ups and downs through racing, but that’s racing. No matter what, y’all always speak your minds, you get no two-faced interaction with the Swanstrom family…Corey Swanstrom, Melissa Swanstrom. [They’re] just straight up country folks that work for what they’ve got. When they struggle they don’t stop until they get it, and it shows. This means the world to me, not only to me, but to others fighting the same thing. Thank you so much for bringing awareness to others.”
