Reacting to the Raw Power of a 600HP Lexus IS-F!

The world said a young YouTuber didn’t review a modded IS-F fully, so he came back a second time and let all the ponies fly.

The IS-F is one of Lexus’ best high-performance machines. If your budget can’t net you an LC-F or, perhaps, an LFA, then the sedan is the next best thing. You do so much with the ride, too, thanks to a healthy aftermarket.

One such example is an IS-F recently reviewed by YouTuber Zack Pradel of Shooting Cars. The modded black stallion packs a 615-horsepower punch from its supercharged 5.0-liter V8, which was never exercised during said review. Everyone — including the car’s owner — was disappointed with Pradel over this; thus, Pradel was given the order by the owner to give it the beans.

“Alright guys, my name is Zack, and no, I’m not reviewing this IS-F right now,” Pradel said. “I actually already reviewed this IS-F […] but since that review, a lot of people — including the owner itself — said, ‘Hey Zack! You didn’t drive that car hard enough. So, that’s what I’m going to do.”

The 615 horses on tap are made with an R&R Racing RR780 supercharger. The supercharger as-is delivers 7 psi of boost, good for 510 to 530 wheel horsepower. Jack it up to the Stage 3 kit, though, and you’re getting 650 ponies charging out of the eight-speed automatic gate of the IS-F.

Time to Go WFO

“This is a good car,” said Pradel. “I’m just gonna do some pulls in this thing, and that’s it. That’s the video. So thank you for tuning in to watching a 22-year-old kid have fun in a 600-horsepower IS-F. Like and subscribe.”

And with that, Pradel makes his first pull with the Lexus. His face says it all: “Whoa nelly!” That’s what happens when you give it the beans like you should’ve done previously, though. That said, better late than never to experience such hardcore power, right?

The Lexus is Blown, and So is the Mind

“The owner was right,” said Pradel. “I didn’t go hard enough last time. Wow! I was a little scared of breaking it […] but second gear, what do you have for me?”

Enough power to loosen the bolt on his GoPro, for starters. Thus, we get to see the world go by on the tinted rear window, with a glorious soundtrack to go with it. This IS-F is definitely the hammer of the gods.
