RC F Flows Like Liquid Platinum Through the Weekend

Going on five years strong, RC F lives for the weekends, is hand-washed with microfiber towels, rocks a few mods for big events.

Shopping for a new Lexus RC F? Obviously, your nearest Lexus dealer would be the top choice. However, perhaps you don’t want to deal with the dealership. Why not consider the Club Lexus Marketplace? There may not be any 2021 models available yet, but there might be a new-to-you sports coupe waiting for you.

In fact, we happened upon such a beauty the other day, in the form of a 2015 RC F draped in Liquid Platinum and Floridian sunshine. Let’s learn more about this CPO stunner, shall we?

No One Washes the RC F But the Seller

“[This is a] 2015 Liquid Platinum RC F with Carbon Fiber/Performance package/Mark Levinson Package and black interior with carbon fiber package inside,” writes the seller, admnEffect. “Clean title, Certifed Pre-Owned.”

The seller adds he’s never allowed a dealer or a third-party wash his RC F. Instead, he’s hand-washed his Lexus with microfiber towels. Plus, he’s got lots of paint-protection film on the front bits, as well as the carbon-fiber roof and spoiler. All so it looks good for the weekend and big events.

Tucked away behind the LED headlights, of course, is the secret sauce of the RC F: the 5.0-liter 2UR-GSE V8. A total of 467 horses and 389 lb-ft of torque exit to the rear via an eight-speed automatic, while the Atikinson cycle brings efficiency to the table. The sound of the V8 is carried through a Bazooka Exhaust system, the stock exhaust lives in the seller’s garage.

The big V8’s only logged a few thousand miles with the seller, the second owner of the RC F. Purchased in May 2019 at around 13,400 miles, the odometer currently reads around 17,900 miles. None of the miles were logged on the daily, however; it’s strictly a weekend/event machine.

The West Palm Beach, Florida-based seller seeks $46,500 for the pampered Lexus. He’s in no rush to sell, however, preferring to test the waters. Should the right deal come along, though, it’ll have a new home.

If this isn’t the Lexus for you, don’t worry. The Club Lexus Marketplace contains many more treasures awaiting you.
