Speaking from the Paris Motor Show in an interview with Motoring Australia, Lexus Global Design head Tokuo Fukuichi said the company is serious considering a compact sedan. It’s a logical move–so much so it might already be testing.
My buddy Matthew Scott of Unsealed 4×4 was driving down the 405–just minutes from Lexus HQ in Torrance–when he snapped these photos of what we think might be the four-door version of the CT 200h. In the MA post, Fukuichi-san basically confirmed that the compact sedan would debut in Geneva next year, and implied the car would be a hybrid:
“We need to think about the many possibilities [for drivetrains]. We have to think about environment. We try to think about hybrid engines, turbo engines too,”
Do you think this is the Lexus we’ll see in Geneva? >>
