More Than a Pretty Face: Lexus RC F GT3 and Mount Fuji

This weapons-graded RC F is the ride that Lexus will be pinning its hopes on in the FIA’s GT3 class, where it will be tested in ways only “the crucible of motorsport”–to borrow a phrase from Top Gear–can challenge vehicles.

The lack of luxury bits and liberal use of trick tech like carbon fiber mean this thoroughbred will weigh in at just 2756 lbs. and pack almost 100 more ponies–540 to be exact–than its road-going counterpart, so we know it’ll be quick around circuits. That said, sure it looks good standing still–especially in front of Mount Fuji. Check out a walk around video from its debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, and some glamour shots of it on the track at Fuji Speedway.
