2013 Lexus RX 350 F SPORT 011

The RX is the best selling luxury utility vehicle of all time and due to increased global popularity, Canadian RX production will be ramped up to meet demands.

Lexus will invest more than $100 Million to boost RX production from 30,000 to 140,000 units. And for the first time in Lexus history 15,000 RX h models are to be built outside of Japan. This investment will bring about 400 new jobs to this part of Ontario, Canada and will help supply the demand for the very popular RX 450h luxury utility vehicle.
Fun Facts:

  • Currently the RX is made at the Kyushu Plant in Japan & Cambridge Plant in Canada while the RX 450h is exclusively made at Kyushu.
  • North American destined Lexus RX 350 F SPORT (AWD) with 8 speed automatic is exclusively built at the Cambridge Plant.
  • The F SPORT trim is available in other world markets as RX 270 F SPORT and RX 450h F SPORT.
