Lexus LS F Sport & Co. at the 2017 New York Auto Show
Lexus’s sporty new LS flagship sedan dazzled the media and visitors alike in New York City.
Club Lexus was on site at the 2017 New York International Auto Show, where the iconic Japanese luxury brand debuted the 2018 Lexus LS 500 F Sport. As you may know, the F Sport trim brings out Lexus’s more aggressive and sexier persona.
Lexus unveiled the all-new LS500 executive sedan at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show, and it’s only taken them three months to adorn it with sportier goodies. Lexus designers didn’t hold back when giving the LS 500 its coupe-like silhouette and dramatic rendition of the Lexus signature spindle grille.
In fact, Lexus claims that it took computer-aided design (CAD) operators some five months to achieve the desired texture and interaction with light. Aside from the controversial grille, the rocker panel and trunk moldings accentuate the sedan’s sleek profile, while F Sport badging on fenders and exclusive 20″ wheels complete the exterior transformation.
In case you’re wondering, Ultra White is offered as an F Sport-exclusive exterior color. Lastly, it’s worth mentioning that this trim does not feature any mechanical or performance upgrades.
The new LS F Sport was accompanied by a full lineup of vehicles, including sedans, coupes, SUVs, and even a stunning RC F GT3 race car. As it’s typical of the manufacturer, they brought two “one-off” vehicles to New York, including the previously seen Lit IS show car, and a GX SUV wrapped to commemorate the New York Fashion Week.
Enjoy the shots!
