Has the LC 500 Ever Looked This Good?

A car as beautiful as the LC 500 doesn’t need any help showing off its perfect lines. But the right light certainly can’t hurt.

In this case, the right light may have even made the LC shine more beautifully than we’ve seen yet. Just take a look at these photos by SpeedHunters‘ Larry Chen, who absolutely nailed this photo shoot.

Chen could very easily have skipped the shoot altogether though, as he was apparently in full-on recovery mode, having just returned home from abroad. But then a buddy called him up to say he had a 2017 Lexus LC 500 for the afternoon, should Larry want to snap a few pics.

Being the pro that he is, despite heavy traffic in all directions and the ticking clock of a setting sun, Chen told his buddy to meet him outside of Palm Springs, about 100 miles away. As you can see from the pics below, Chen made it out to the dessert just in time for the Golden Hour — that magical time just before the sun rises or sets. Which is made all the more magical by an LC 500.

Apparently this LC is destined for SEMA, so hopefully Chen will have another chance to get up close and personal with it again. And hopefully the SEMA builders will be tasteful.
