Ken Gushi Drives the IS-F CCS-R Up Pikes Peak This Weekend

After delays due to poor weather conditions, the race to the top of Pikes Peak is finally on this weekend. Lexus will attacking the famous hill climb with their IS-F CCS-R. The driver is none other than drift star, Ken Gushi.

This marks the first year the road to the peak has been completely paved. In a way, it’s the end of an era. Pikes Peak’s mixed surfaces made it the ultimate test for rally cars and hillclimbers the world over. Now, it’s more like the worlds longest, most dangerous touge. That’s why you might be seeing cars that seem better equipped for time attack than a rally.
