Lexus LC500 Wagon by Rain Prisk

Portfolio of vehicle illustrator Rain Prisk features Lexuses transformed into wagons, utes & other awesome dream guises.

Lexus has a decent collection of vehicles available in its showrooms, each filling a particular need, from the high performance of the LC and RC F, to the big luxury of the GX and LX. Yet, there are some vehicles we wish they had. Why not a shooting brake of the LC, for example? Why not a new successor the ultra-rare LFA? And if they were made, what would they look like?

Illustrator Rain Prisk has a portfolio of vehicles that presents a reality where such creations are possible. The talented artist and auto enthusiast is a junior vehicle designer from Tallinn, Estonia, working for Ubisoft Reflections, whose game titles include the Driver franchise, Stuntman, Destruction Derby, and Tom Clancy’s The Division.

Mid-Engine Lexus LC500 by Rain Prisk

Away from the grind, Prisk uses his Photoshop skills to reimagine vehicles from the real world, as well as create original pieces that could exist in our world. Whether it’s a widebody Camaro, Panamera, or Tesla ute, or even a Nissan GTR van, Prisk’s imagination knows no bounds. His mid-engine LC500 above is a golden beast we can only beg Lexus to make real as a successor to the LFA. And if you’d rather have more cargo space than an engine out back, there’s also the LC500 Shooting Brake at the top of the post, which he also made in red.

We think Lexus needs to give Prisk a call ASAP, if only to bring him aboard as a design consultant to make these dream machines a showroom reality. Click here to see more illustrations from Rain Prisk.

Cameron Aubernon's path to automotive journalism began in the early New '10s. Back then, a friend of hers thought she was an independent fashion blogger.

Aubernon wasn't, so she became one, covering fashion in her own way for the next few years.

From there, she's written for: Louisville.com/Louisville Magazine, Insider Louisville, The Voice-Tribune/The Voice, TOPS Louisville, Jeffersontown Magazine, Dispatches Europe, The Truth About Cars, Automotive News, Yahoo Autos, RideApart, Hagerty, and Street Trucks.

Aubernon also served as the editor-in-chief of a short-lived online society publication in Louisville, Kentucky, interned at the city's NPR affiliate, WFPL-FM, and was the de facto publicist-in-residence for a communal art space near the University of Louisville.

Aubernon is a member of the International Motor Press Association, and the Washington Automotive Press Association.
