Crazy Lexus Story of the Week: Lex On Fire!
What’s worse than your beautiful Lexus on fire? Having it ignite your son’s nearby Lexus, too! Russian family gets hit with double-whammy.
In Russia, underground mobsters sure know how to get brutal when it comes to making a memorable – albeit terrifying – statement. But they don’t go for the jugular. They go straight for the victim’s most prized possession: their Lexus. Harsh.
According to news outlet Crime Russia, which calls this a “high-profile case, Anatoly Moskovin, a “construction entrepreneur” in Saint Petersburg, recently found his Lexus torched after he parked it near the city’s waterfront area. Witnesses report that a stranger walked up and doused the innocent Lexus with gasoline before lighting it ablaze and making a quick getaway.
The scenario quickly worsened when Moskovin’s son’s nearby Lexus also caught fire from the flames of his dad’s burning Lexus. An adjacent Toyota was also burned in the fire, but few seemed to notice with two flaming Lexuses nearby!
But why? What did these two beautiful, innocent Lexus cars ever do to anyone to deserve such an ugly demise? This is cruel even for a mobster. However, neither of the Moskovins saw the arson actual happen, and questions about what prompted the torching remain unanswered. But we’re pretty sure Moskovin’s son will be parking a lot further away from his dad from now on.
