ClubLexus Exclusive: Gengar’s LFA is here!
The Lexus LFA has been arriving to the United States since the beginning of this year. And for one of our lucky members, the long wait to take delivery has ended. We’ve always wondered who would be the first Club Lexus member to take delivery of the LFA, and I’m happy to announce that LFA number 047 has arrived safely on U.S. soil.
The wicked supercar has already made its way through port processing
here in Southern California and has been transported to its destination
in the Midwest. Delivery is scheduled this week to our very own member
“gengar” who is anxiously awaiting for the weather to cooperate.
Just recently gengar attended the Lexus LFA Driver Development Program
at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, CA. It was at that time that he notified
me that his LFA would be arriving a week after his visit in Sonoma.
Since he was not able to attend the de-vanning of his LFA, I was able to
document the unboxing of his Pearl Blue beauty. Luckily his LFA
arrived just in time before the unfortunate catastrophe in Japan. No
stranger to Lexus and the performance line, gengar knows a thing or
two about Lexus as he has owned quite a few in the past. He currently
owns an Obsidian with Alpine interior IS F. Now his rides have a new
stablemate. Since we’re already familiar with the
LFA de-vanning process, its time to check out the goods.

Not only was gengar’s LFA de-vanned, LFA #057 arrrives and is to be
delivered to its new owner in Chicago. To our knowledge, this is going
to be the 2nd LFA delivery in the Chicagoland area, where LFA #026 was
already delivered to its owner in the South Suburbs. I was told the
owner of this particular LFA is very promiment in the area. Only time
will tell if and when the new owner will step forward.
