They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. In our case a picture is worth some ClubLexus merchandise and the honor of being the very first ClubLexus photography contest winner. The contest ended in a tight race with the SC 430 photograph by member, V. Miller, winning the grand prize. GS Category winner, Cong28, excitingly followed behind with a close second-place finish.
ClubLexus general members viewed the photographs and voted for their favorites from each category using an online voting ballot. At the end of the voting period, the votes were tallied and the Best of Category winners were announced. These winners were then entered into a Best of Show contest. Finally, after the last contest period had ended, a Grand Prize winner was announced.
A wide assortment of photographs, shown below, was presented, ranging from western, high-desert scenes to wintry, east coast offerings. Amazingly, over 80 photographs were entered in this contest, with most entries coming from the GS and SC categories. The ES category, however, provided the most excitement, with ClubLexus member, blux, winning the category by a single vote! Contest prizes included Best of Category Prizes of ClubLexus t-shirts and the Grand prize, a ClubLexus Jacket.
All entrants are to be greatly commended, particularly the Category Finalists ? blux (ES), cong28 (GS), Kash (GX), IS300eR (IS), mervlink (LS), AgSport (RX), V. Miller (SC) ? who all helped to provide an exciting contest for everyone.
