Here’s a little gem for IS F fans. Here we have a rendering of a theoretical Lexus IS F successor as published by Japanese auto mag Carsensor.net. The resulting,fragmented, translation is both insightful and kind of hilarious (be sure to read below).

About a year ago, the only real performance offerings from Lexus were the IS-F, the LFA, and the F-Sport line. There was no hint of the RC coupe and the idea of an RC-F was pure fantasy. There were just these two.

Yes, the C7 Corvette is the obvious favorite in this comparison, but lets take a step back and look at the raw horsepower numbers. The C7 makes 455 horsepower by comparison the IS-F makes 417 horsepower. That’s not so big a difference right?

With 2014 coming quickly around the corner, Lexus has recently announced updates for the 2014 model year IS F, GS 350, GS 450h and the GX 460. The first 2014 model that was introduced this year is the all-new 3rd generation Lexus IS.
