Most people recall how the first LS400 shocked the luxury-car world back in 1989, and how the LFA demonstrated Lexus’ ability in building a supercar, but not too many realize the impact of the introduction of the RX300 back in 1999.

Lexus put up a campaign a while ago for people to submit name for the latest (and hottest) orange color on the Lexus RC F. While the final name choice seems to be ironed down as “Solar Flare Orange”, Lexus released this picture on Twitter showing the orange color RC F at the Lexus headquarters.

The Lexus IS F was their first punch; their first statement that they are serious about sportiness. Since its debut in 2008, the car has gone through quite a lot of changes. 2014 marks the final year of the seven year run of the Lexus IS F

Everyone got excited when Lexus revealed the LF-LC concept vehicle back in 2012. Lexus never got into details whether the car would go into production. Now we know what they’re planning. They’ll call it, the SC.

When it comes down to owning an exotic super cars, naturally everyone focuses on the performance figures. How fast is 0-100? What is the lap time around Nürburgring? Very few would ask the question on the reliability of those cars. One of their first cars, the yellow P014, now has over 40K miles.
