We’re Testing a 2017 Lexus NX300h AWD – Got Any Questions?
Lexus has been kind enough to toss us the keys to a brand-spanking-new, 2017 Lexus NX300h AWD. And we’d like you to ask us any questions you may have. So common, don’t be shy!
Today is officially the first snow fall in Indiana, so I’m fairly happy to be able to put the ‘ole beater away for the week, and hop behind the wheel of this all-wheel drive crossover. The posh looking NX has been a big hit for Lexus, and how can it not? With the segment growing at a scary fast pace, it’s this kind of luxe ride that hip buyers are looking for.
I’m far from hip, but I do know that I’ve got plenty of driving ahead of me in the next three days. With my daughter playing soccer out of town this weekend, and a meeting in Chicago a few days later, it’ll be an excellent chance to spend quality time with the swanky hybrid.
Lexus advertises the NX300h AWD at an EPA rated 33 city, 30 highway, and 31 mpg combined. We shall see what my numbers look like at the end of the week, though I must add my experience with the non-hybrid NX F-sport last year was a rather thirsty one.
NX Vitals:
- Engine: 2.5 liter inline-4
- Horsepower: 194 hp
- Transmission: Electronically-controlled CVT
- Drivetrain: Full-time all-wheel drive with rear electric-drive motor
- Curb Weight: 4,180 lb.
- 0-60 mph: 9.1 seconds
- Top Track Speed: 112 mph
So there you have it. Comment below with your questions, and we’ll do our best to answer them!
