I saw a post on the wheels classifieds recommending him to get a good deal on new oem wheels. He emailed me back a decent price, but it's kinda weird dealing with someone "anonymous" (not on CL, etc).

Any replies greatly appreciated.

BTW, the reason I ended up not purchasing through NGOBROS2000@aol.com was because he avoided giving me any pictures and refused to contact me by phone. I seem to have struck a nerve when I asked these questions because every reply after that was in CAPS as if yelling (but I may be reading too much into that). Now this type of transaction may not be a big deal to some people, but I was just tryin to be safe rather than sorry later.

There was a set of 4 great condition and 4 new tires with 150 miles......starting bid $500, buy it now $850 with a $120 shipping. I bid....then i thought..crap...that buy it now is very cheap. And since it was a reserve auction, the buy it now was still there. I went back a bit later and someone used buy it now...i practically cried....

Man, on factory rims? That sux.

My problem is I've been screwed before so I try to be extra cautious by asking for pictures, referrals, hopefully seeing the product in person. You know, not excessive requests, but it seems to turn some people away, I don't understand because I would be glad to provide all of this for someone for anything I would sell.

Oh well.

I'm particularly looking for the chromes, if you happen to not have a preference, I have several offers given to me for some silver rims.
