Yeah, that was pretty dumb wasn't it.
They are a full set of four, looking for $600.

if you look at the inside of your left front, you can see how some of the blocks are raised more than the others... where there is part of the tire sort of sloped up which is clearly evident in the photo showing where the actual dirt/dust is and you can even see a little bit of the ramping... If you run your hand over it, you will feel it if you can't see it..
This seems to be pretty common on cars today.. It happened witih my former Z3 Roadster too.. and it made for a shimmy ride after too much uneven wear

Since those tires are now off the car (and still available for sale ; )), should I be doing something with alignment etc to prevent it from happening to the new tires?
