I think these would have sold quicker if it was spring and folks in most of the country were driving their Rear wheel drive cars again...
...I know I love HRE myself and probably would seriously consider them if my car wasn't in storage....
...and with the x-mas season, my funds are required elsewhere....
BUT I can highly recommend HRE as a fantastic wheel!!! ..this sounds like a great setup and $4K is a phenominal deal folks!!!

I'm a little mixed up. I understand that this your opion. But who is selling these wheels anyway. I'm not seeing a reply or the pics
that I would need to make a decision. I have asked several times

...meanwhile, you can lookup the wheels on www.hrewheels.com to see if you even like how they look.
...my guess is that they are hubcentric but since I'm not the owner, I wouldn't know for sure 100%

I am selling them... I work for HRE, and the wheels were custom built for Lexus cars (the SC300/400 specifically) and are hub-centric at 60.1mm.
I have made no effort to hide or trick anyone into purchasing these wheels. They are brand-new, and have never even installed on a car. I hope nobody on the Board thinks I have misrepresented the quality or state of the wheels.
The reality is that HRE had a major computer crash recently, and several files (photos in particular) were corrupted. Combine that with the fact that I work about 12-16 hours per day (I don't surf the net all day, like some CL members), and it is difficult for me to even find the time to respond to internal e-mail...
I would attach the files here, bit they are too big, and I don't have PhotShop at my desk. I will e-mail photos to anyone that asks for them!

Just wanted to say what a straight up guy Bob (SoCalSC4) is and if I hadn't already bought a set of wheels I would of gotten these in a heartbeat.. HRE by far makes one of the world's best manufactured wheels and for the price that he has them is unheard of and you get tires too..
Anyways just thought I would drop a post since it bothered me that there were questions about this wheel sale..

There was no question aboiut his sale.
I think people were a liyyle confused about who was really selling
them. I have talked with Bob and he is a straight shooter.
Anyone who is in the market for that price wheel setup should know that it's a very good deal.

Thanks, guys... I really like the 546Rs, but the reality is that HRE has a new series of wheels now, and since I'm a fairly 'visible' person (I go to all the shows, industry events, PR, etc.), I really need to show the latest & greatest we make...
The SC will get 20x9 and 20x10.5 HRE 845Rs with the same finish as the 546Rs (brushed/clearcoated w/ polished inner rims)- I already have 2 sets of tires, Yokohama AVS Sport & Pirelli P-Zero Rosso, both in 255/35-20 front & 285/30-20 rear.
I must say, the new Infiniti G35 Coupe is really intriguing me- must... resist... dark... side~! That car will take 20" wheels, too, but I would build different offsets than for the SC400. Luckily, the G35 isn't available in a V8, which makes it harder for me to defect from the Lexus Camp!!!
