Default 18' HRE 540 Gloss Charcoal (Stepped Lip)

Just got these back from HRE... the discontinued and ever popular 540 series.

Fronts-
Inner barrel, 18", 7.0" Width, Standard, Flange, 6061, 5 mm, 40 hole
Outer barrel, 18", 1.5" Width, Standard, Flange, 5454, 5 mm, 40 hole
Front Fitment @ 18x8.5, 1.5inch lip, Offset +37

Rears-
Inner barrel, 18", 7.0" Width, Standard, Flange, 6061, 5 mm, 40 hole
Outer barrel, 18", 3.0" Width, Standard, Flange, 6061, 5 mm, 40 hole
Rear Fitment @ 18x10.0, 3inch lip, Offset +18

These will come with-
Two sets of HRE Black/Silver Center Caps
HRE Medium Dia. Valve Stems
4x10 HRE Garage Wall Poster

Bought these from PureDrifter this last December and took them to HRE and had them completely redo these…they SONIC Cleaned all the faces which eliminates corrosion, pitting, oxidation. Then the centers were refinished in a gloss charcoal powder coat... replaced all inner and outer barrels, high polish outer barrels with a clear powder coat… replaced all 160 HRE nuts and all 160 HRE bolts… even the bolts have HRE stamped into them.
These are the equivalent of new rims, with no exceptions; HRE has meticulously cleaned and reworked these to there extremely high standard… and they are gorgeous, pictures don’t do them justice. Locals to downtown San Diego, feel free to come check these out in person.

These were originally designed for a second generation LS, so these will clear LS brake upgrades, but will need 1/4 inch spacer to clear Brembo BBK #1B2.8014A2. If you have questions for other BBK's I can shoot you my HRE point of contact's info.

Assembly Fastener ANM8125S M8x1.25 Serrated Nut
M8 x 1.25 x 26 x 14mm 12 pt. head, 10.9 class, wire chrome plated & baked, marked HRE

$4,000 firm shipped

MODERATORS- I will have my vouch shortly. Thank you.

how will the rears fit on a 2nd gen GS?

fronts will be fine. I am worried the rears will be too wide with that +18 offset.

I will send Guy @ HRE an email and ask him.

The HRE tech said the rear quarter panels will require either to be rolled, or shaved, depending on suspension set up and desired look... these were designed to sit "flush".

More agressive? Are you wanting to go hella flush status (negative camber)?

Just talked to Guy. Way to aggressive for what I want. Not going to roll/cut/shave my fender and definately no way would I be able to run a 275's either.

GLWS!!!

Wow, great wheels you have for sale (I have a set of HREs myself). Do you mind telling me how much HRE charged you for the work (PM me if you like)? I may be interested in sending off my 540Rs to get sonic cleaned and refinished.

Also, is there any chance you'd part with the HRE poster and/or a set of those center caps? Thanks. -Brad

Shipping will be approximately $60 a wheel with 2k insurance and tracking to nearly anywhere in CONUS. (2k insurance because these are $1700+tax a piece to remake)

These wheels look stunning! At $1,700 a wheel to remake, you could've just bought new ones!!
