I sent of a 900$ Flat panel LCD monitor with UPS somehow they got the packaged mixed up sent to the wrong place and then some how got lost. I am currently trying to deal with UPS to get my money, they keep giving me the run around.

Well boy's it doesn't look good.

On 8-5 he said that he got the cashiers check and was sending it out the next day. I gave him my ups act # to send the check 2 day Air ( letter) and nothing. Have been leaving him msg's and sending him e-mails and i havn't got a single responce. I am really perplexed. Does he think that $1800 is not worth going after? And all this hell that he is about to receive could be avoided if he would only have the guts to pick up the phone and call or e-mail me. I have given him til monday morning to get a hold of me. If he doesn't than i am fed-xing a complete packet to the DA in NYC including copies of the cashiers check and the acknowledgement that he rcvd the funds. The DA's office said that this is a pretty easy case with the evidence i have and that this is a federal offense. So he could spend some time in the pokey and i hear that they like them orientals in there :eek:

Any one that wants to earn some xtra $ in helping me get my money back let me know.

I wouldn't even screw with these people. The second I thought something up on the phone with my Attorney I go. A few years ago it would have been a baseball bat and some "neighborly friends" getting the funds back, but these days you can screw with people more the legal way. Would you rather bust someone up or watch them go to jail for 30-90 days? I would rather take their freedom, wounds can heal. So go at it the legal way man.

I also find it interesting that Not2Fast's last post on the forum is the ad for the BBS wheel. If he was not avoiding anything, he should at least have given his side of his story to CL. He has not even casually posted anything else since then (unless it is under a different username )

Have you checked with your bank to see if the cashiers check has cleared? If not, you could place a stop payment on it. Just a thought. Hope this helps.

that's why unless it's someone u really really trust. or well known, like (gs4will) I would always go with visa payment over the paypal. $$ is refund when I got fruad by such an a$$hole like that.

yeah, paypal sucks too! they will just say "we have ended out investigation... blah blah blah... and we are unable to retrieve funds because the account has a zero balance." I got screwed before. Only bet is to pay via credit card directly or by someone like william.
