FS: Weds Kranze Rapier (5.5" & 7" lips)
SPECS:
Front: 19x10.5", -26mm, hi disk (clears most big brakes), 5.5" lip
Rear: 19x12", -45mm, hi disk (also clears most big brakes), 7" lip
Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3mm only
Finish: diamond cut/machine polish with silver inserts, classic (black) bolts, polished lips
Tires: (2) JDM Dunlop Lemans LM702, 275/30-19 mounted on the rears wheels with under 100 miles
Extras: Weds Eventer weighted center caps (see animated gif below)
Condition: Excellent, with one superficial scratch on the spoke of one rear wheel (see closeup pic below)
PRICE:
Original price on these wheels with the optional Eventer center caps is almost $5000USD, not including shipping from Japan. I am asking $3000 + shipping with the two tires still mounted on the rear wheels, or just $2900 + shipping without the tires.
CONTACT:
Please email: vansemail (at) gmail (dot) com if interested.
In the past 5 or 6 years that these wheels have been in the states (my friend imported them, and then I got them from him), there still has been NOTHING that can match them in sheer intensity. We ran them on his Q45 for a short period, and then on my 240SX convertible for like...one less than 40 miles >HAHA< It's safe to say that whoever gets these wheels will have the most insane wheels in the western hemisphere. My friend and I were never one for shows and get-togethers, etc. so we never put our cars out there...but if you buy these wheels and run them, you're guaranteed to make waves and make many heads explode at any HIN or what-have-you.
Old pics.. these tires are NOT included:

these wheels don't have that. it's all about frames per second settings on that camera.
just take a look at this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dyisg9-Mwjw
the camera's fps is in perfect sync with the rotation of the helicopter's blades, thus making it look like the blades aren't rotating. Therefore, the .gif file of those wheels moving look like they aren't moving.
oh, sick wheels btw....waaaay to aggressive for my car w/o a doubt.

Yup, the actual center logo part of the center cap stays stationary, while the rest of the wheel moves normally (watch the animated gif again closely and notice the gold logo stays horizontal while the wheel is rolling). Just like the new Rolls Royce center caps. It's also kind of fun to hold the center caps sideways and do a sort of frisbee-throwing motion and watch the centers spin.. if you get your timing right, you can actually get it to go faster and faster. Sorta like these things:
The Eventer center caps were a very short-lived option, since they were going for about 40,000 yen or so on top of the cost of the wheels...suffice to say, these are rare, even in Japan.

Hmmm, in all honesty, such a flat-faced wheel might look a little weird in way larger diameters imo... but that's just imo. With this design, I think 19" is almost a perfect size actually... even 20s might be pushing it. For the ultimate example, I refer again to this Celsior with essentially the same fitment:
I saw it in person at a tokyo auto salon a couple years back, and despite the sorta boxy bodywork, the car-with the wheels(!!)-really does make you go WOW irl.
So with that said, 19s are all for you!

Had someone ask about the weights on the wheels... to be honest I don't remember off-hand, but I do recall them being quite light for the size and design of the wheels... something in the neighborhood of 33lbs for the fronts and 35lbs for the rear I think it was.
Also, figure that if they were to be shipped (sans tires), they'll most likely have to go in a 20" x 20" x 14" box... so if anyone else wanted to calculate a rough cost on shipping... there you go.
Oh yah, and I am open to offers, as I would rather these go to a new home than back into storage for another few years...
