Default FS: 18" HRE 546 with Michelin Pilot $2000

I have a set of 18" x 9" HRE 546 wheels for sale off of my 01 LS430. Also included are Michelin Pilot Sport All Seasons size 235/50/18 with less than 10K on them - tires alone cost $1200. Asking $2000 + shipping which is a great deal!

Default Are these wheels taboo or what?

I thought getting rid of these for this money would be a piece of cake - are these wheels un desirable at this point or what?

As you can tell, 19 and 20's are more desirable these days

i think if it was a staggered setup, they'd be gone by now. but still, the price seems to be awesome.

Default 19" vs 18"

I agree that 19" & 20" rims look better but that will destroy the luxury ride of these cars - which is why I went with 18". I've read quite a few posts about peoiple replacing shocks/struts who want to retain factory smooth ride so I have got to beleive others feel the same way.

Are those really 235/50, and not 235/45 or 235/40?

Default Tire size

They are 235/50 - that is the correct size for the LS to keep speedo working correctly - they are almost exactly the same overall diameter as the stock 16's

Your setup makes the speedo 2.3% too slow.

245/45R18
275/40R18
both those have stock diameter

With rims that wide and tires so skinny do you have alot of curb rash?

No curb rash - you have to avoid hitting them!

Default I'd love them...

Just don't know if they'd fit my SC. I think you said the offset was a +31 and I don't know if that'll fit. I should probably check on that since I'm local to you and could just pick them up. :-) I e-mailed you about them already but never followed up. I guess with winter being here, I haven't thought much about the wheels I want for the summer. Do you have the exact specs? I'll try to find out if they'll fit.

I dont think you can run a 18 and a 50series tire on a SC, especially if you intend on dropping, The SC is very finnicky and has shallow wheelwells in the front! I think 245/40-18 on a 18x8.5 or 18x9.0 are the optimum sizes for a 95 SC, I'm helping a member research wheels, so I have been looking into it
