Default what's the meaning of the tsuna and fusa?

so yes I see a lot of VIP style cars have the tsuna and fusa on there rear view mirror... But what's does it mean? I wanna know thank you!

From what I know, there's four knots on the Fusa to symbolize the four seasons which have four gods and the Fusa is for good fortune whereas the Tsuna is for protection because its knots are tightly wound into what could resemble a shield or net.
