Default My LS430 on the way..

Heya peoples,
On my way to making my 2002 LS430 a nice VIP cruiser.
Installed Tanabe DF210 springs, have ss-kit to go in this week. Full Garax LED interior (except all the tiny OEM ones) HID fogs (25,000k) IPF parkers, PIAA reverse 6000k, Mtec 6000k low HID's, Amistad Kloud wheels just arrived last week.. More goodies to come! Admiration Creatuer aero, grill and cutters. Aimgain and Dulce eyelids (not sure which ones i want to run with so i opted for both).

Tanabes installed:

Amistad Klouds. F19X9 et 31, R19X10 et 38. 245/40 all round.. I would love more front stretch, but i havent found a 225 here with a load rating of 97+..

Eventually bags, probably an accuair system. More low this week hopefully if the fronts will fit in..

Looks like a nice car and I like the direction you're going in. If 'VIP' is your goal you're going to need to get rid if those tires, get smaller ones & stretch'em to achieve the stance you're looking for. You'll need some spacers as well. I'd seriously consider re-barrelling or a new set of lower offset wheels instead.
At the end of the day 'VIP' starts with the right stance.

I know what i want, but what i want and whats available is a different thing...Like i said, no one makes tires within the load ratings needed in 19's (97) that will be suited for more stretch. Im not willing to void my insurance on a 50k car.. or run a 200kg+ less rated tire on each corner.
Its getting another 30mm drop this week..
Re-barrel a 4.5k new set of rims? When i didnt have any clue to what would be excessive offset, i erred on the side of caution. VIP doesnt always need moar lip...

Maybe i should re name it "Euro VIP" inspired instead..

Just name it a 'nice car' and be happy with that. No such thing as Euro VIP.
Don't take offense to my wheel comment. I went through 4 sets of wheels in 16 months to find the right offset and style for me.
Have you ever checked Upgarage? Being so close to Japan, you have access to pretty anything you could ever want.

All my parts have come direct from Japan, the VIP scene here in Oz is only a handful of people, and there is definitely no direct suppliers/stockists. I have a few brokers i use over there. Just to give you an idea, EMS on these Klouds was almost AU900 just for shipping. I dont mind blowing cash, trust me, but no one could give me a definitive answer re offsets before i purchased. I dont want to go pulling guards. Ill shave and roll, but nothing more.

Im happy with the rims for now, im more p!ssed off with the front tires... just not happy at all with them. Ill see how things go/look with the extra 30mm drop on wednesday. Could probably space them out a bit.

Upgarage use to be way over priced.. I havent tried them in years. Ill check em out.

Thanks

"Nice car" it is..

Looks clean, still about an inch too high and I doubt your insurance wouldn t cover your vehicle cause you "accidentally" were sold a low load rating !!
