I'm guessing the bottom of your tank doesn't have a release? From the looks of the Ksport kit I don't think there is another way. Are you trying to let out the moisture?

Add a water trap between the tank and the compressor. This is minimize the moisture getting in your tank, but will not completely eliminate it. I have a drain valve, but cannot access it, so I still take out the tank once a year (even with a water trap).

I would recommend getting a different tank with a release valve at the bottom like mines. Those water traps are pointless IMO. I've ran my system without them since I had them.

I guess I worded that wrong. It does trap water/moisture don't get me wrong. But the way I see it, you still have to drain the tanks. So as long as I do that every month I'll be ok

think grasshoppers

one can always put a couple feet of air-line with a valve on teh end to release the air

you can then have a release anyplace you'd like

Get a trap it works better than anything .
I drain it every 2 weeks for 5 seconds.
The tank every 3 months but it never gets moisture since i regularly dump the trap .

my tank has the drain hole for it.. its just located behind the tank n at the bottom of the tank.. prob is.. theres no room for me to get back there unless i remove the whole tank which is a lot of work =[

No disconnecting anything when dumping the trap I have from IR .
It is a **** on the bottom of the trap where the water collects.
You turn the **** and it blows out the moisture collected with some air then you tighten it back up by hand. Real quick and easy.

You need to get one that is rated at 150-200 lbs max for air suspension in a car.\
About $20

Remember, the water settles on the bottom. If you are planning to add a hose/line, make sure it's from the lowest point of the tank. Anything higher and you will just bleed out air and not the water.

Does brand matter? What do you personally use for your air tank?

That's what I've been trying to say LOL. There's absolutely no point in draining the tank if the release isn't at the bottom.
