i had ***** ***** in my old s13, went through a few different ones. i also had zebra fur door trims and glove box trim and a white glitter steering wheel.
i like them, **** you guys, theyre something different and funny and i like things that are so japanese they just seem out of place outside that country. theyre popular on drift cars and also bosozoku style cars. i think they first came about back in the 60s or 70s but were smaller and had a flower or fishing lure inside them.
i used to get lots of wierd comments but i liked it for that reason. and they are generally referred to as ***** *****, dont know what they are actually called by the japanese.
you can get loads of types, there are lengths from 90mm to up to 350mm along with some which have flowers in, bubbles in, different resins inside, marble look, dragons or fireworks or whatever etched into them,....
i have been tossing up for a long while about whether to get one for my lexus...the one im thinking of getting has diamonds etched into the inside of it and comes with an led circle which goes beneath it so it lights up different colours and the diamonds in it shine haha now i see the hatred from you guys im prety sure im going to get it! :P

These are popular amongst drifter's. I've seen some trickle over into the VIP scene, but they got a little more flair- super fat crystal shifters. To each his own I guess.

i thought they were kinda cool before when i had my 240 i had contimplated getting one of the flower ones but after driving a friends it did really feel like i was driving with a ***** in my hand and it kinda turned me off of it..
i dont think that most lexus' would have it because its an automatic and also because its not a lux as a simple wood grain **** or something..
i am however interested in seeing the pictures of the one that was being talked about with the diamonds/crystals encrusted in it.. just to see what it looks like
