I do daily drive the car (even do food shopping in it) and I never let any obsticals get in my way. You can either make excuses as to why you can't do something or you can convince yourself as to why you should do something.
It is definitely an eye catcher. I actually like it. Usually I am totally against builds like this but you have pulled it off extraordinarily well. Execution is everything and you nailed it.
